Clarence Ford: Poaching and the 'punk' lily

Where most clivia species — otherwise known as bush lilies — get a touch of the vapours outside of a cool, damp forest understory, the ‘punk’ lily can take a 45°C day on the chin. But the ‘miracle’ clivia (Clivia mirabilis) is being poached to the edge of extinction from its home, a single gorge in the Northern Cape. Leonie and Clarence Ford are once again in conversation, looking for solutions to today’s pressing problems on his show Views & News.
